Īny more details needed then let me know. So if anyone knows on how i can configure an xbox controller to run smoothly with mods like project nevada and the weapon mod menu, then please let me know as i don't want to remove any mods. An Xbox 360 controller is the most popular choice, but any other third-party controller will work, as long as you make sure that its Xinput. also the weapon mod menu does not work a default controller. Fallout: New Vegas, as well as the majority of other titles that advertise controller support, require a controller that is Xinput compatible. Iv in the past tried using a controller however the mods i use, kinda limit me on using a controller as project nevada does not configure to the controller (xbox controller)automatically however i tried a file for x-pader or somthing like that the configures the controls however i had issues with that with the controls not being as smooth /functioning as they should. 360 contollers are not the same as a other controllers they are wired differently.Recently i have been trying to get back into fallout new vegas but i always dread the mouse a keyboard as i'm not good with the coordination and find myself feeling like a clonky and slow robot, iv practiced on other FPS games but i dont want to wait until i'm a pro but i don't want a rough play session being inaccurate and not a bad ass. and before you speard mis-information play the game with a 360 controller even the main menu can be done without the need of a mouse or keyboard. No if you use a 360 controller it plays the same as a 360 which means you can play the game without the need of a mouse or keyboard at all. I use my conttroller only when tired on the couch and I run the HDMI from the laptop to the TV. I am not sure what you consider old but the transition to mouse and keyboard is not that tough and it controls better over all, but to each his own. In Fallout: New Vegas on PC, you can set a quick weapon access keys by pressing a keyboard shortcut (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8), and clicking a weapon in the menu. I use a Logitech f310 and it works perfectly fine, the 360 controller only thing is complete nonsense.Īs a side note to the OP in regards to memory, if you don't use it you lose it. No it means he has to use the mouse or keyboard for some of the menu items. thats what partial controller support means. Escrito originalmente por Lee:its 360 controller only without a 3rd party program to remap the buttons for other controllers.
